Summary:

Several years ago Kong-Sil (Kong Hyo-Jin) was involved in an accident. Since that incident, Kong-Sil is able to see and hear ghosts. She's also terrified of the ghosts that appear constantly around her. Because of this, she's unable to live a normal life. Kong-Sil lives in a rooftop room at an extended stay inn. She makes a living by doing odd jobs at the inn, including cleaning.

Meanwhile Joong-Won (So Ji-Sub) is the president of an extravagant shopping mall named Kingdom. He is also arrogant and calculative. Everything relates to him in terms of money.

One raining evening, Kong-Sil goes to room 404 to clean, but she sees another ghosts. She freaks out and runs up to her rooftop room. The ghost, who looks like an old woman, appears right next to her again. Kong-Sil then does the old woman ghost a favor and goes to her home. She hands the ghost's son a bankbook with more than 10,000 dollars in the account.

Joong-Won sits face to face with a man who owns land that he needs to build a golf course. The man tells Joong-Won that his deceased wife does not want him to sell the land. Joong-Won doesn't believe in ghosts and ignores him. He pulls out a contract which the man's children already signed. Joong-Won is able to get the man's signature.

On his way back from that meeting, Joong-Won is driven by his assistant (Choi Jung-Woo). The driver then sees a woman thumbing for a ride. Joong-Won tells his driver to ignore the woman, but a light suddenly shines on them and the car stops. At this time, Kong-Sil hops into the car and thanks them for picking her up. Kong-Sil unintentionally touches Joong-Won and feels something unusual. Later, the car pulls over at a highway rest stop. While walking back to the car, Joong-Won sees Kong-Sil talking to someone, but there isn't anyone else there. Thinking she might be crazy, Joong-Won turns around, but Kong-Sil grabs his arm. She discovers that whenever she touches him, the ghosts around her disappear.

Back at her rooftop room, Kong-Sil is terrified by the ghosts around her as usual. She thinks back to Joong-Won and how the ghosts disappeared when she touched him. Kong-Sil decides to go Kingdom shopping mall to meet Joong-Won again.

Pinocchio

Summary:

Drama series follows reporters for a broadcasting company as they chase the truth.

In-Ha (Park Shin-Hye) has a Pinocchio Syndrome. She hiccups whenever she lies.

Choi Dal-Po (Lee Jong-Suk) is a first year society reporter at the broadcasting company. He has a handsome appearance, but his ugly clothing and hair style hides that fact. He has an excellent memory and speaks well.

Seo Bum-Jo (Kim Young-Kwang) is from a rich family and has a bright personality. Yoon

Yoo-Rae (Lee Yoo-Bi) has a timid personality, but strong will. She was a huge fan of an idol person in her high school and college days.

                                     Prime Minister & I

Summary:

Prime Minister Kwon Yool (Lee Beom-Soo) works well at his office, but he struggles to raise his three children alone. Nam Nam Da-Jung (Yoona) is a reporter full of enthusiasm at work, but she always ends up missing big scoops. Nam Da-Jung comes to Kwon Yool and his three kids like a Christmas present.

Doctor Stranger

Summary:

As a child, Park Hoon (Lee Jong-Suk) and his father were kidnapped by North Korea. In North Korea, Park Hoon was trained to become a doctor by his father who was already a doctor. Park Hoon became a genius like chest surgeon. He then flees to South Korea.

Park Hoon begins to work as a doctor in South Korea's top hospital Myungwoo University Hospital, but he feels like a complete outsider. To bring his love from North Korea, he does anything to make money.

Marriage not Dating

Summary:

A perfect man, Kong Ki-Tae (Yeon Woo-Jin), is forced to marry by his family, but he doesn't to marry. To make his family give up, he introduces a woman, Joo Jang-Mi (Han Groo), to them that they would never accept.

Why watch it? Well if you're the type of person who love complicated triangle relationships or K-drama world Hexagon relationships or became you are stuck in one then this drama will give you all the solutions 

Emergency Couple

Summary:

Jin-Hee (Song Ji-Hyo) led a satisfying life as a dietitian. She then met medical school student Chang-Min (Choi Jin-Hyuk). Despite his wealthy family's strong opposition, Jin-Hee and Chang-Min decided to get married. Chang-Min's family is full of doctors. Chang-Min though gave up his medical internship and began working as a pharmaceutical salesman. Their marriage life was not happy. Chang-Min's family looked down on Jin-Hee and even Chang-Min seemed to change. Chang-Min began to think terribly of Jin-Hee and they finally divorced.

After their divorce, Jin-Hee became a medical student and now works as an intern. Chang-Min also graduated from medical school and begins to work as an intern. One day, they meet in the emergency room for a hospital where they will both work together.

Trot Lovers

Summary:

Jang Joon-Hyun (Ji Hyun-Woo) is a talented and popular musician. He looks down upon the traditional trot music genre. Meanwhile, Choi Choon-Hee supports her family by herself and she is crazy about trot music. A romantic relationship begins between these two individuals.

Summary:

Ha-Ni (Jo Bo-Ah) is a mermaid. For a man she is in love with, she becomes a human being and begins to live at the Ingyeo House. The house is for people who are preparing to land their first jobs. To permanently become a human being, Ha-Ni must make the man love her within 100 days.

KPA Week 3 Homework: Let's learn Hangul!

KPA Week 3: Let's learn Hangul!

So when we arrived at KCC we had a pile of name tags on the main desk written in hangul and we had to guess which one was ours

Awkward....

Casually struggling because I can't read hangul properly ;;__;;

But don't worry we all eventually found ours haha

Then we had a lecture by a Korean teacher (Jae Hoon Yeon) from SOAS University

Learing the Korean alphabet

He was a really great teacher because he went from the basics to advanced level.

Also, he really explained slowly and carefully so we could take notes alongside.

This talk lasted for an hour before moving on to the next activity.

Ruby took over to explain the next activity
which was learning how to write Korean calligraphy & getting to know to tools

Let the practice begin!

Its not easy as it looks~ took me a lot patience

Overall, I think I did a pretty good job because I do study art and we do a lot of ink paintings and writing but it was still pretty hard.

KPA Week 2 Homework: How to make Seafood & Green Onion Pajeon

The first time I tried Seafood Pajeon was last year at Seoul Bakery & honestly I loved it.
But everytime I went back to a Korean resturant, I always seemed to forget to order it  ㅠㅠㅠㅠ
But today, I decided to giving it a try in making it myself!!!






LET'S GET STARTED!~

Things you will need

:

• 1 Cup Flour
• 1 Cup Water
• Spring Onions
• Red Pepper (Optional)
• 1/2 Teaspoon Vinegar 
• 1/2 Teaspoon Soy Sauce
• Seafood of choice (King Prawns)
• 1 Egg
• Olive Oil (For cooking)

Slice up the red pepper

Place them both into a clean plate

Add a cup of flour into a bowl

Add a pinch of salt

Add an egg 

Add 1/2 cup of water

Stir up the batter until smooth

Add in the King Prawns

Add in the spring onions and pepper

Stir up the batter

Add a teaspoon of olive oil to a frying pan 

Add in the batter to the pan 

Cook for 20 minutes on Med-Low heat 

Flip each side until golden brown

While waiting lets make the sauce
Mix the soy sauce, vinegar and 1/2 cup water into a serving bowl 

Tada!!! All done~

I really enjoyed making this & I am soo surprised it tasted yummy!
