HOW TO: Black to Golden Brown (Relaxed Hair)

Hey Bunnies

I'm doing something a lil bit different today.....A hair tutorial? YAAS
A while back on my FB Page, I posted about dying my to a golden brown & a lot of people were interested because they know my hair is relaxed (Chemical Straightened) and it ended up becoming highly requested. After months of intense research I FOUND AN ANSWER  and I'm gonna tell you the secret to bleaching & dying relaxed hair so listen up ~

First things first, you have to consider the strength of your relaxer (Mines: Normal) & then leave your hair relaxer/heat free for a few months (My hair was 3 months post). You gotta be strict with yourself if you want good results and still maintain healthy hair; so if you can try limit flat ironing to once every two weeks if you really need it.

Organic Root Stimulator Olive Oil Relaxer (Normal)

→ Steps in bleaching (Products used) ←
1) Recommended 2-3 weeks before bleaching use a creme developer only to pre-lighten your hair
Truzone Cream Peroxide 9% - 30 Vol
It may sound stupid but its proven and only a few people know that cream peroxide can lift off your natural hair colour and its less damaging than adding the bleach powder. It technique is really useful for those with virgin black/dark hair like mine because we all know black/dark colours are really hard to lift. (I recommend to use a 30 or 40 vol).
MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE YOUR HAIR 2-3 WEEKS BEFORE BLEACHING

2) Apply Olive/Coconut Oil before bleaching hair or make sure you haven't washed your hair for at least 3 days - The idea is the night of oil-soaking replicates the buildup of natural oils in your hair and protects both your scalp and the hair itself from the chemical death goop that is bleach.

3) Since you're already going from pre-lighten hair (recommended to use a low volume creme developer such as 20 or 10). Then start your bleaching your hair following the instructions on packet carefully

Truzone Cream Peroxide  6% (20 vol) & Rapid Blue Hair Bleach

The reason my hair so blonde is because if you look back on the colour wheel blue is opposite to orange therefore it neutalizes your brassy tones. When I bleached my hair I left my roots to last so they wouldn't be too light but I changed my mind a left it brown/black for a natural gradation.

5) Dye your hair following the instructions carefully (It said leave it on for 20 mins for relaxed hair but i left mine for 5 ONLY because I wanted a really light colour.
Dark & Lovely - Brown Cinnamon

Now since this dye had a reddish undertone it left my hair looking ginger so I toned it with a purple shampoo. You're only meant to use this twice a week because its not good to wash your hair too often. (Mondays & Fridays ONLY)
Use it as much as you want depending if you like it lighter or not ( I only used it once so far)
Here are my final results:

Finally once again! Try not to over use heat this will reduce breakage also try, trim off the ends your damaged bleached hair and do your deep conditioning/protein treatments weekly. Overall, I gotta say my hair is healthy as ever & I hardly experience any breakage tbh. I'm gonna have to stay relaxer free for at least 2 months before I touch up.

Let's Eat | Au Baroudeur

Continuation from my previous post (Come w/ me to Paris ✈️)

As many of you may know, I do have a 2nd channel now that is inspired by the K-drama: Let's Eat 1 & 2 and ongoing trend of Mokbang. I'm always told by friends & family that I'm an extreme food yet I'm able to mantain my weight (like I didn't eat at all). So I thought it would be fun to take on food challenges, diy cooking, food hacks & restaurants/street food reviews from different cultures  :)

For the 1st episode of Let's Eat:

I vlogged about a restaurant I went to during my stay in Paris - Au Baroudeur
The food was great, the service was alright but overall it would I would give it a 4/5 stars
